Check out a case study of the Stratton Community Foundation's 24 Hours of Stratton event from our event partner, Run Sign Up.

Since 1996, the Stratton Community Foundation has brought neighbors together to help children and families thrive. Thanks to the generosity of the community, over the past 30 years, the Stratton Community Foundation has awarded more than $4 million in grants, provided scholarships for local students, responded to urgent needs, and invested in programs that strengthen the region.

By The Vermont Journal

The Stratton Community Foundation has awarded 26 scholarships valued at $249,000 to graduating seniors across the region this June. In partnership with local families and donors, the Foundation presented 15 college scholarships and 11 trade scholarships to students representing Burr and Burton Academy, Leland & Gray Union High School, and Arlington Memorial High School.

The Stratton Community Foundation has been a force of compassionate service in Southern Vermont since it was founded in 1996

The event brought in a record-breaking $465,859 in individual participant fundraising with another $100,750 in sponsorships through the effort of 894 participants — the highest totals in the event’s history.
