Dolly Parton Imagination Library

We are the affiliate for Windham County

Working directly with local pre-schools, pediatricians, and libraries, we inspire parents to sign-up, currently supporting 155 children in southern Vermont, with over 6,458 children enrolled across the state.  By providing books at no cost to young families, the Imagination Library increases childhood literacy rates, fosters a love of books, and promotes a culture of reading together in the home.   

This program is made possible through the generosity of our donors, Charlie & Renee Brown.

How it works:  

Children age 0-5 receive a free book every month, delivered to your home. 

We cover the towns of: Jamaica, Landgrove, Londonderry, Newfane, Peru, South Londonderry, Stratton, Townshend, Wardsboro, Weston, Windham, and Winhall. We currently serve the towns of Jamaica, Landgrove, Londonderry, Newfane, Peru, South Londonderry, Stratton, Townshend, Wardsboro, Weston, Windham, and Winhall.
