The Stratton Community Foundation College Scholarship Program supports local high school graduates with academic promise, leadership, and financial need as they pursue higher education.
This four-year scholarship advances the Foundation’s mission to remove barriers that prevent children from thriving.
Eligible students must live within the Foundation’s service area (Arlington, Bondville, Danby, Dorset, Jamaica, Landgrove, Londonderry, Manchester, Newfane, Newbrook, Pawlet, Peru, South Londonderry, Stratton, Sunderland, Townshend, Wardsboro, Weston, Windham, Winhall) and have benefitted from previous financial assistance. The program provides up to $12,000 total, awarded as $3,000 per year for tuition, housing, food, or other academic expenses. Continued funding requires full-time enrollment and annual reporting.
For donors, this is a deeply personal investment. Each award is named by our donors and is presented to the student on your behalf, which creaes a lasting connection and a measurable, life-changing impact over four formative years.
A commitment of $12,000, or $3,000 annually for four years, ensures a motivated student has the support they need to thrive beyond high school.
