Trade Scholarships

The Stratton Community Foundation Trade Scholarship Program supports local high school graduates pursuing careers in the skilled trades by providing financial assistance for vocational, technical, and trade-based education.

This program reflects the Foundation’s belief that hands-on professions are essential to strong communities, economic stability, and a thriving local workforce.

Eligible students must reside within the Foundation’s service area, including Arlington, Bondville, Danby, Dorset, Jamaica, Landgrove, Londonderry, Manchester, Newfane, Newbrook, Pawlet, Peru, South Londonderry, Stratton, Sunderland, Townshend, Wardsboro, Weston, Windham, and Winhall, and must have benefitted from previous financial assistance. The program supports motivated individuals committed to developing practical skills and contributing to their communities through essential trades and technical professions.

Each Trade Scholarship provides up to $3,000 per year for up to two years, for a total potential award of $6,000. Funds may be used to offset tuition, required tools, equipment, certifications, transportation, or other expenses directly tied to trade education and training.

By investing in trade education, the Stratton Community Foundation is creating pathways to stable careers, strengthening the regional workforce, and ensuring local industries have the skilled professionals they need.

Thank you to our 2025 and prior Trade Scholarship donors, and congratulations to our previous Trade Scholarship winners!
