The Mission

The Stratton Community Foundation cares about the health and well-being of children and families in Southern Vermont. Our mission is to address the challenges that stand between a child in need and the opportunity to be healthy, safe, and educated. Our vision is to end the cycle of generational poverty by helping at-risk children become successful adults.

"I cannot believe this amazing magazine! It is so beautifully done and highlights the wonderful area, its businesses and the impactful efforts of the Stratton Foundation. REALLY WELL DONE! I am honored to be in the magazine.” - Sandy Wheeler (p.9)

I have just read ‘ The Why We Give’ magazine. It made me cry – I sent it to my other siblings/ trustees of the Brown Foundation. Our parents would be so pleased with our support of the Stratton Foundation.” - Charles & Renee Brown (pg 28-29)

“Congratulations on this, very well done and incredibly professional. We enjoyed reading your piece, as your time with the Foundation exactly mirrors our involvement, beginning with Hurricane Irene. The Stratton Foundation has been a wonderful partner in helping multiple generations of the Wyman family express their love and affection for the region that has been our home away from home for over 70 years. With gratitude for your amazing stewardship.” John & Leslie Cooper

THE STRENGTH OF OUR COMMUNITY RESTS ON THE SHOULDERS OF OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES AND WE VALUE THEIR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE STRATTON FOUNDATION TO CARE FOR OUR
NEIGHBORS AND FAMILIES IN NEED.
