Alterra Mountain Company Community Foundation
Established in 2021, the Alterra Mountain Company Community Foundation is a public charity that was created to provide financial support to the members of the communities in which Alterra Mountain Company operates. Alterra founders Henry Crown and Company and KSL Capital Partners, along with Alterra’s former CEO, Rusty Gregory, donated an initial $2.6 million as seed funding; the majority of ongoing financial support will originate from public donations.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Vermont
Established in 1975 (fka BBBS of Windham County) we provide school and community based mentoring programs for children and youth age 6-17+ throughout Vermont. Our mission is to ignite the power and promise of youth through 1-1 mentoring. As a local affiliate of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, we have the benefit of being "Vermont-made" as well as being a part of the oldest and largest mentoring program in the country!
United Counseling Services
UCS provides outpatient counseling and addictions services, emergency mental-health services extensive rehabilitation services, home, community, and school-based services, employment services for people with a mental illness or a developmental disability, and early childhood services.
Center for Health and Learning
The Center For Health And Learning is a non-profit organization that serves as a catalyst for initiatives that inspire optimal health for all. Our mission is to build healthy communities through educational resources, leadership training, policy development, and technical assistance. CHL is focused on improving school and community health. Our staff and consultants apply expertise in health and education to design training, develop resources, and carry out research and evaluation.

Burr & Burton Academy
Since its founding in 1829, Burr and Burton has been an independent Vermont high school with a public mission. It serves as the local high school for area students, while also attracting students from overseas. Situated at the foot of Mt. Equinox and overlooking picturesque Manchester Village, Burr and Burton is a school with a proud tradition of educating students of diverse backgrounds and talents in a supportive and caring environment.

Windham Central Supervisory
The Windham Central Supervisory Union serves nine towns in a geographically diverse area of southern Vermont, which includes the West River Valley and mountain ski areas. Geographically, it is the second largest Supervisory Union in the state covering 365 square miles and more than 150 miles of connecting roads.

Springfield AHEC
Area Health Education Center. Since 1999, the Vermont AHEC Network has engaged academic and community partners to improve the distribution, diversity, supply, and quality of the health workforce in Vermont, especially in our rural and underserved communities. Southern Vermont AHEC is one of two independent nonprofit regional AHEC centers in Vermont.
